This week's podcast, Mike and Ryan chat about how your audience gets to LIKE you.

To be known is one thing, but to be known and actually liked is the next level. Mike and Ryan discuss this week what it means to be genuine, real and authentic, both online and in person.

Mike asks you to pick a side and OWN it. Try not to be on the fence and gain some likes from each side. Don't be afraid to commit fully to something. At least you will be real and authentic. People will like you more for that versus being in between. Ryan agrees on the digital front, as he says you can just tell if you have an authentic, engaged following compared to a purchased group of followers. Additionally, it's important to put your face out there. They want to know you, what you do, what you like, what are you involved with and then make sure you document it. Consistent messaging and content is one thing, but people are also listening to your voice, how you sound, they want to know who you are first.

In person, you need to have the understanding of how your clients want to be communicated with. Doing something specifically for THAT person will generate likeability on an individual experience. Help people overcome the fears and anxieties that your potential customers and clients have by communicating to them about those reservations. In turn, that is what is creating likeability.  It's a process of building your brand, your likeability factor, your name referral, your trustworthiness. It all correlates together and we'll chat about that next week.
